Pot of Duality

Hola a todos los miembros del clan Latin War Master, existe la nosion de que si realizas una invocasion especial y te la niegan [vease royal oppression, solemn warning, etc...] despues puedes activar pot of duality por que no realizaste una invocasion exitosa. Bueno hace unos dias plantee esta situacion en el foro de los jueces y Curtis [quien escribia las reglas del yugi para tcg en la epoca de upper deck] contesto que no se podia. Aqui les dejo la discusion.

Pot of Duality vs Royal Oppression

Pot of duality
Reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck, add 1 of them to your hand, then shuffle the rest back into your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Duality" per turn. You cannot Special Summon a monster(s) during the turn you activate this card.

Royal Oppression
Either player can pay 800 Life Points to negate the Special Summon of a monster(s), and/or an effect that Special Summons a monster(s), and destroy those cards.

Situation
Player A have in your side field 1 Elemental HERO Neos Alius and 1 Face-up Royal Oppression. Player B have in your hand 1 pot of duality and 1 cyber dragon. Player B special summon the Cyber Dragon and Player A negate that summon with royal oppression. Player B can activate pot of duality as its special summon of Cyber dragon was refused with royal oppression?.

If a Special Summon that does not start a Chain (i.e. Cyber Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, Judgment Dragon) has been negated, you are still treated as having attempted a Special Summon that turn. You cannot activate Pot of Duality as a result.

Asi que por si acaso si en un duelo les intentan activar pot of duality despues de que les negaron una invocasion especial ya saben que no se puede
